We are applying for a licence under the Insurance Act, 2017. Until it is granted, this site is informational and we do not sell policies.
Two companies, by law.
Ugandan law does not allow one insurer to hold both a life and a non-life licence. So we are building two companies under the same shareholder, each with its own capital and board.
Leads Insurance Limited
Non-life insurer: mining and special risks, motor, property, engineering, liability, marine, bonds, agriculture, health, accident and travel.
Life company
Life, savings, funeral and retirement products will be written by a separately licensed life insurer.
